JUDITH E. JOYCE, President
Ms. Judy Joyce is an environmental geologist and the owner of
EarthView Environmental, Inc. She has over fifteen years of experience
in soil classification and morphology with major emphasis in soil
interpretations for land use. This work entails soil characterization,
plant identification, and hydrological studies.
Her projects include delineating, mitigating and monitoring wetlands;
stream bank stabilization, and evaluating the suitability of land
for development. She works closely with developers and with federal,
state, county, and local officials to obtain environmental clearances
and permits pertaining to wetlands, threatened and endangered
species, water quality, erosion control, and environmentally sensitive
areas. In addition, she has provided geomorphological services
for several archeological consulting firms in Iowa.
Judy is a certified Professional Wetland Scientist (PWS) and
a National Association of Wastewater Transporters (NAWT) Certified
Inspector and Trainer. Since 2000, she has conducted onsite wastewater
treatment system and wetland training throughout Iowa.
Mr. Joe Artz is a geoarchaeologist and GIS analyst with a
Masters of Arts in Anthropology (University of Kansas, 1984).
He has over 25 years of experience in archaeology, specializing
in describing and interpreting the soils and stratigraphy
of archaeological sites, geomorphological mapping, and studying
fluvial processes and landscape evolution. He has over 12
years of experience in Geographic Information Systems (GIS)
including digitizing, georeferencing, geodatabase management,
and spatial analysis. He has conducted geoarchaeological fieldwork
and GIS projects in 10 states as well as Belize and Portugal.
He brings to EarthView Environmental the ability to provide
geomorphological consulting at all phases of archaeological
work; determine buried archaeological site potential as part
of Phase I archaeological survey, describe excavation profiles
during Phase II and Phase III excavations, design and implement
coring and trenching designs at site and project area levels
of analysis; describe and characterize soils; and map surface
geology and landforms in the field and in GIS.
Mr. Chant Eicke is a Senior Environmental Scientist at EarthView
Environmental, Inc. Chant is a professionally trained wetland
delineator with experience working with forest, riparian, and
prairie habitats. Chant contributes expertise in wetland delineation,
GIS research & analysis, wetland management, prescribed fire
management and information architecture development.
Through past experience with local, state, federal and nonprofit
agencies as well as private stakeholders, Chant brings an array
of collaborative and technical experience to EarthView Environmental,
Inc.
HEIDI LAMP
Mrs. Heidi Lamp is an accountant with a B.B.A in Accounting and
a Certificate in Entrepreneurship. Specializing in the handling
of Accounts Recievieable and Accounts Payable, she oversees the
financial administration of EarthView Environmental.
Heidi brings the company experience in business analysis. She
manages project progress and budget balances, and also monitors
project efficiency. Heidi utilizes a background in tax to support
EarthView Environmental's social responsibility by offering tax
aid to non-profit organizations which work with getting children
outdoors.
TIM JULISON
Mr. Timothy Julison is a recently retired Assistant Refuge Manager
after 29 years with US Fish and Wildlife Service. Tim worked at
5 national wildlife refuges in Minnesota and Iowa in the capacities
of assistant refuge manager, ascertainment biologist, private
lands biologist, range conservationist, law enforcement officer
and biological technician.
Tim's extensive experience brings high expertise to EarthView
Environmental in the areas of fire management, wetland and native
prairie restoration and management, wetland delineation, and native
plant identification.
REID STAMER
Mr. Reid Stamer is a wetland areas specialist and field technician.
He holds a B.S. in Geography with an empahsis in GIS and a minor
in environmental science. Reid has conducted field and remote
sensing research into subjects including carbon sequestration
in wetlands, tree species phenology, and the effects of large
scale flooding on vegetation.
Reid assists with field research and manages day to day technical
field and equipment needs, keeping operations running smoothly
at EarthView Environmental.
HOLLIS WEBER
Mr. Hollis Weber is an Environmental Scientist at EarthView Environmental,
Inc. Hollis recently finished a master's degree in Rangeland Ecology
and Watershed Management with a Water Resources emphasis at the
University of Wyoming in Laramie, Wyoming. He has many years under
his belt doing various field work and is familiar with many types
equipment and computer modeling programs.
Hollis provides EarthView with a background in resource management
and study with crucial on-the-ground experience.
