JUDITH J. KRIEG

Ms. Judy Krieg is an environmental geologist and the owner of EarthView Environmental L.L.C. She has over twelve years of experience in soil classification and morphology with major emphasis in soil interpretations for land use. This work entails soil characterization, plant identification, and hydrological studies.

Her projects include delineating, mitigating and monitoring wetlands; stream bank stabilization, and evaluating the suitability of land for development. She works closely with developers and with federal, state, county, and local officials to obtain environmental clearances and permits pertaining to wetlands, threatened and endangered species, water quality, erosion control, and environmentally sensitive areas. In addition, she has provided geomorphological services for several archeological consulting firms in Iowa.

Judy is a certified Professional Wetland Scientist (PWS) and a National Association of Wastewater Transporters (NAWT) Certified Inspector and Trainer. Since 2000, she has conducted onsite wastewater treatment system and wetland training throughout Iowa.

HILLARY B. MAURER

Ms. Hillary Maurer, Project Manager and environmental scientist, had 25 years of experience in public health prior to joining the team in August 2004. She has been recognized by the State of Iowa for her service on several professional committees and boards, and has been a conference presenter for both local and national organizations.

With an emphasis in water well systems and decentralized wastewater, her extensive field experience has given her expertise in providing solutions for water and wastewater problems encountered by rural property owners and small public systems.

Hillary is an Iowa-certified operator of water treatment, water distribution, and wastewater treatment systems. She is also certified by the National Association of Wastewater Transporters as a wastewater system inspector.

CHANT EICKE

Mr. Chant Eicke is an environmental scientist with a B.A. in Environmental Studies, and is the newest member to the EarthView team. Chant is a trained wetland delineator with experience working with forest and riparian habitat. Through past experience with local, state, federal and nonprofit agencies, Chant brings an array of collaborative experience to EarthView Environmental LLC.

Chant has a diverse background working with environmental and conservation issues. Past projects include environmental consultation and waste management, invasive species management, prescribed fire, environmental interpretation & education, and GIS-based research.
